The Vault

Experiential Copy & Content Strategy,
Mejuri

Elevating retail to a level of hospitality and relationship building with an immersive pop-up in the heart of NYC.

Five days before U.S. Thanksgiving, Mejuri opened a four-week experiential space in Chelsea to celebrate the brand’s five-year anniversary. Named ‘The Vault’, the pop-up sat just 1.6 miles from Mejuri’s permanent showroom space in Soho—but served a different purpose. Instead of driving sales, the focus was to continue building brand awareness and customer loyalty in a setting fit for social channels and influencers.

‘The Vault’ led to an increase of 124% in Instagram mentions globally in the week before the space launched. Additionally, in-store conversion rates were four times higher than the average conversion rate for pop-ups. Limited-edition merch was also developed with 100% of proceeds going towards the Lower East Side Girls Club, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty.
